This particular Quilt Coat has been constructed from a vintage, hand-stitched quilt in the classic red & white color-way. Carefully stitched, the star patterning is neat & immaculate. It’s light/medium & in beautiful vintage condition. THAT FABRIC!!!!!! We’ve trimmed it with olive wool from a surplus Army blanket for a pop of contrast.
As with all vintage Quilt Coats, please expect to find signs of wear & miscellaneous flaws. It’s a part of the history & what set it apart from garments mass produced over seas. They’re marks of love & use & comfort.
